Dear Wolmerians As the new President of the Wolmer’s Alumni Association, New York Chapter, I recognize and celebrate the hard work of our members over the decades. They have shown what true dedication is all about. The leadership has been true and steady, and it is upon their shoulders that we stand today. Our Chapter has shown that there is no greater patriots to Wolmer’s than us.
As a proud alumnus of Wolmer’s , I could not be prouder of the institution’s accomplishments. Wolmer’s has successfully provided over 250 years of high quality educational opportunities to students, resulting in thousands of alumni who excel in various careers, including: physicians, nurses, lawyers, entrepreneurs, artists, designers, community leaders, teachers, professors, administrators and computer experts.
Each year, as we welcome new students to Wolmer’s, we are reminded of the great legacy left behind by our wonderful alumni. As alumni president, it is my goal to work along with the Wolmer’s Alumni Board of Directors to raise public awareness of the Alumni Association, to grow its membership base, to assist with development of fundraising opportunities, and to promote exciting activities and events for alumni in Jamaica and beyond.
As President of the Alumni Association, I encourage you to become passionate about Wolmer’s. We are asking for your help to ensure great things remain a part of being a Wolmerian
